Welcome to the Prestwick Elementary Library! I am so excited to be the Library Media Specialist at Prestwick this year!
I received my Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University (Wreck em'!) and I also hold a Masters of Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska Omaha with a school library endorsement. I have been in education for 13 years and four of them as a librarian. I have been a librarian in both Texas and Omaha, Nebraska. My husband Nathan and I have been married seventeen years and have three kids- Zach, Noah, and Landee. We enjoy spending our weekends at the baseball field watching our son play, grilling out, or swimming! In my spare time I enjoy crafting, home decorating projects, and of course reading. I am passionate about children's literature and have so many wonderful books to share! I am looking forward to all of the exciting and fun activities we will get to do in the library this year!
