I joined Prestwick Elementary as the school nurse for the 23/24 school year. I am a Registered Nurse and received my degree in 2002. My husband and I moved to Oak Point, Texas in July, 2022 to be closer to our youngest daughter and son-in-law after the birth of our first grandson. She is also a teacher in LEISD at Prestwick Elementary and when Prestwick needed a new school nurse she asked me to consider applying for the job. Upon doing my research, I felt it could be a good fit, and I was right. I have fallen in love with the school and all the students and am happy to be a part of the Lobo FamiLE.
My goal is to make the clinic at Prestwick a place where your studentâs health is a priority. I am continually making sure each student's unique health needs and wellness are being monitored, assessed and managed so that each student has every opportunity to make the most of a safe healthy environment to learn to the best of their individual potential.
