Marnie Richardson

Campus Behavioral Coordinator
 

Marnie Richardson began her career in Little Elm ISD in 2007. Originally serving as a 6th grade math teacher, Richardson has been the ESL Facilitator at PSA since its inception. Richardson has served the District as an Early Literacy Specialist, and a second-grade blended classroom teacher. During her time in LEISD, she assisted the District Education Improvement Council, Campus Leadership Team, Campus Improvement Committee, in addition to serving as a trainer and teacher mentor.  

Christine Gibson, principal at PSA, said the administrative team is honored to have Richardson step into a greater leadership role. "Marnie has been an integral part of Prestwick STEM Academy since we opened our doors in 2014-2015. She is passionate about celebrating diversity at our campus,” said Gibson. “One of her greatest talents is that she loves to work closely with students of all ages to help them reach their potential to be their personal best.”

Richardson is in her second year serving ESC Region 11 as a Texas Education Agency First Grade Literacy Achievement Academy Trainer.  She began her career in education in Riverside, CA. While teaching first grade for six years in Riverside Unified School District (RUSD), Richardson also served as an Student Success Team Coordinator, Categorical Program Specialist, and mentor to new teachers.  Richardson was RUSD’s Teacher of the Year in 2004-2005.

Richardson graduated with honors from the University of Texas at Dallas with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Cross Cultural Teaching.  Richardson has recently completed her second year in the Aspiring Leadership Institute (ALI) under the guidance of Dr. Lowell Strike.
